For the 2015–16 season, the Monarchs traded places with the Kings' affiliate in the ECHL, the Ontario Reign. The AHL franchise moved to Ontario, California, and play at Citizens Business Bank Arena where they became the new Ontario Reign; the ECHL team moved to New Hampshire retaining the Manchester Monarchs name.
The ECHL Reign played their home games at the arena each season from 2008 to 2015. [15] In 2012, the arena was home to the Ontario Warriors of American Indoor Football but the team folded before the season ended. [16] Since 2013, the arena has been home of the Empire Strykers of the Major Arena Soccer League.
The Toyota Sports Performance Center is a practice facility for the Los Angeles Kings, and the Ontario Reign, located on 555 North Nash Street in El Segundo, California. The $24 million, 135,000 square feet (12,500 m 2) facility broke ground on April 28, 1999, and officially opened on March 5, 2000.
