Jonathan Matthew Mattox (born April 27, 1989) [1] is an American basketball coach who is the current head coach of the Morehead State Eagles men's basketball team. He played college basketball for the Anderson Trojans and Emmanuel Lions and has previously coached at Emmanuel and Murray State.
Morehead State set the program record for most wins in a season during the 2023–24 season, as the Eagles collected a total of 26 wins. Jonathan Mattox, previously associate head coach, was named as the 15th head coach in the program's history.
