Burton is a village in Geauga County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,407 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Cleveland metropolitan area. Burton is the location of Century Village, run by the Geauga Historical Society. The museum village is composed of 19th-century buildings moved there from other locations.
The village of Bainbridge, Ohio, is located in Ross County, in Southern Ohio. The first residents of Bainbridge were the McConougheys, who came from Blandford, Massachusetts. Many other settlers followed. In 1817, Bainbridge Township was established. The first housing subdivision, Lake Lucerne, opened in 1922.
In 1848, the building was adapted for use also as the new Chardon Library, the first branch of today's Geauga County Public Library. Main Street after the fire of 1868.
