For those of you that don't know what a binary trigger does it allows you to shoot two rounds with one trigger pull and release. A selector will allow you to shoot semi or binary. Some of my shooting partners have them on AR-15 and ...
The Trigger Group and housing I’m using is a spare that is ~36 years old…it fits fine. Shooting out of a Stain (S) Less Steel 10/22 Takedown with ~16.40” barrel and flash hider attached. Still focusing on tightening my double tap groups…getting tighter with each sesssion.
I installed a Franklin binary trigger for both my AR-15 and 10/22. Both were very easy. It takes about 10 minutes if you understand how the internals are fitted and function. Both are a blast to shoot and have fun with. I am able to fire the 10/22 a lot faster because of no recoil.
Finally had to drill the hole in the trigger housing about .020 deeper and it went together like butter. The others went together in less than 20 minutes, but there is a learning curve. Mine and the one I did for my buddy have worked flawlessly.

In binary mode I can get 1-2 trigger pulls when something sticks causing me to have to pull the charging handle before another trigger pull. I lightly polished all the trigger ...
New 10 22 owner w/ a request for help. I disassembled, cleaned and lubricated a new 10 22 for the 2nd time today. After reassembly, when I went to function check and cycle the action, the trigger was cocked back but would not dry fire. I then realized that the bolt stop pin was sitting on the table (ruh roh).

I've got a couple of 10/22 trigger groups on my desk in front of me. One old style metal body, one new polymer style. If you have the trigger group out of the firearm, and you've cocked the trigger, at least put your other hand/thumb/whatever in front of the hammer when you pull the trigger. Keep the hammer from flying all the way forward.
The Ruger PC Carbine is a fairly precise 9mm carbine, and its precision is sort of wasted with the binary trigger in single/normal mode. Second is that I'll have a 50/50 chance of releasing the hammer when doing the safety check in binary mode where I hold down the trigger after cycling the bolt, and then switch the selector to normal mode. It ...
