Oman Avenues Mall. Oman Avenues Mall is one of the largest shopping malls in Oman. [1] It is a division of renowned LuLu Group International based at Abu Dhabi.It was inaugurated in May 2015, under the patronage of M.A Yusuff Ali, MD, Lulu Group, along with other key members of the Lulu management.
In conjunction with the Muscat Grand Mall, there are a number of other shopping malls in the area. These include: The Panorama Mall [5] Avenues Mall [6] The Mall of Oman which has opened in September 2021 and is currently the largest Mall in Oman. [7]

The Avenues is home to a number of districts: 1st Avenue, 2nd Avenue, Grand Avenue, Prestige, The Mall, Galleria, SOKU, The Souk, The Arcades, The Cinema, The Gardens, Electra, The Forum, Grand Plaza, the latter six opening as a part of the new extension of Phase IV. The mall is built under and managed by Mabanee Company K.P.S.C., [5] Gensler.

The cinema of Oman is very small. There is only one Omani film, Al-Boom (2006), as of 2007. Partly inspired by Samuel Beckett's Waiting For Godot, Al-Boom deals with the challenges facing a small fishing community. A joint US-Indian-Omani production, Pirate's Blood, starring Sunny Leone was co-produced by Stegath Dorr in 2008.
City Centre Muscat underwent an expansion in 2007 that doubled the size of the mall introducing more than 60 new stores and increasing its retail space to 60,484 m 2 (651,040 sq ft). In June 2013, the mall announced a second redevelopment to add 4,510 m 2 (48,500 sq ft) of retail space dedicated to entertainment and leisure.
