"The Way Life Goes" is a song by American rapper Lil Uzi Vert featuring British indie pop group Oh Wonder from the former's debut album Luv Is Rage 2 (2017). According to Uzi, the song was meant for people that were going through hard times as it highlights what he went through with ex-girlfriend Brittany Byrd [ 2 ] .

The Way Life Goes has received mostly positive critical reviews since its release.. AllMusic gave the album four of a possible five stars, with reviewer Stephen Erlewine saying, "This is who he is: a man slightly out of time and a musician who's gotten better at his craft over the years, winding up with the best record he's ever made."
