John Wood Old Mill, also known as Wood's Mill and John Wood Mill, is a historic sawmill and grist mill located at Merrillville, Lake County, Indiana. It was built in 1837–1838, and is a 2 + 1 ⁄ 2-story, rectangular brick building. It has a gambrel roof with overhanging eaves. The mill operated into the 1930s.

The Old Mill District is a historic area formerly occupied by two lumber mills in Bend, Oregon. Encompassing approximately 270 acres (110 ha) along the Deschutes River , the Old Mill District is now a mixed-use area known for its shops, galleries and restaurants.
The mill was built in 1856 and enlarged later in the 19th century, accommodating then state-of-the art grain rollers, and was a prominent local business. The house was built in 1859, and is a good local example of Gothic Revival architecture. The mill is now a museum property of the local Jericho Historical Society.
Old Mill, completed in 1798 as part of Murrays' Mills, is the oldest surviving cotton mill in Manchester, England. [1] Sited on the Rochdale Canal in Ancoats , it was powered by a Boulton and Watt steam engine, and its narrow six-storey brick structure "came to typify the Manchester cotton mill". [ 2 ]
