The company, originally City Furniture Company, was founded in 1902 by Charles Wolf and John Fox in downtown Altoona, Pennsylvania. In 1915, Wolf bought out Fox's interests, constructed a new five-story building in Altoona, Pennsylvania, [1] [2] and renamed the business Wolf Furniture Company.
