The 2024 PWHL Draft was the second annual draft in Professional Women's Hockey League history, and took place on June 10, 2024 at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Sarah Fillier was selected first overall by PWHL New York .
The regular season schedule was announced on November 30, 2023. The season began on January 1 and ended on May 5, 2024, with each team playing 24 games. The schedule paused in February for an IIHF National Team Break, and in April for the 2024 Women's Ice Hockey World Championships. The playoffs began the week of May 6. [21] [22] [23] [24]

The 2024–25 Ohio State Buckeyes women's ice hockey season will represent the Ohio State University during 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. They will be coached by Nadine Muzerall in her 9th season. The Buckeyes are going into the season as defending National Champions.

The 2023–24 PWHL New York season was the team's inaugural season as a member of the newly created Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). They played their home games at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
