In 2011, The Tyngsboro Boys Soccer Team in the new Mid WACH C Division finished 15-3-1 qualified for the Division 2 Central Tournament. In 2011, the Tyngsboro High girls cross country team captured the Division 2 championship in the Central Massachusetts Cross Country Meet held on November 12, 2011 at the Gardner Municipal Golf Course.

Tyngsborough (also spelled Tyngsboro) is a town in northern Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. Tyngsborough is 28 miles (45 km) from Boston [1] along the Route 3 corridor, and located on the New Hampshire state line. At the 2020 census, the town population was 12,380. [2]

The fall middle school sports teams consists of boys soccer grades 5-8, girls soccer grades 5-8, JV Volleyball grades 5-7, Varsity Volleyball grades 6-8, and cross-country grades 5-8. [10] Boys soccer won their league championship in the 2010 season and the 2014 season. The girls won their league championship in 2013.
The Academy of Notre Dame was established in 1854 by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur in Lowell, Massachusetts. The boarding school outgrew that location and moved to rural Tyngsboro, on land formerly belonging to actress Nance O'Neil, in 1927. The school phased out boarding in the 1960s. [2]
