Samurai Jack is an American animated action-adventure dystopian television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. The show is produced by Cartoon Network Studios . Tartakovsky conceived Samurai Jack after finishing his work on his first Cartoon Network original series, Dexter's Laboratory , which premiered in 1996.
Part II: The Samurai Called Jack – The samurai is plunged into a dystopian world ruled by Aku, adopting the name "Jack" upon hearing several aliens call him the name. Following a nightclub brawl, he meets three dog archaeologists and offers to protect them from Aku's forces, who have taken over their dig site to claim valuable crystals.
As Ashi searches for Jack, she comes across many grateful people that Jack had helped in the past. She also meets defeated enemies who now respect Jack at a bar tended by Da' Samurai, a former samurai wannabe humbled by Jack. Along her search, she sheds her suit of black ash and forges a floral outfit.
As he fights more enemies in the several levels of the tower and finishes Demongo once and for all, Jack finds and battles Aku at the top of the tower. Upon defeating Aku, the timeless realm collapses, allowing Jack to rejoin Ashi in the time portal he was using and return to feudal Japan, where he destroys Aku for good.
