The Derby of the Eternal Enemies (Greek: Ντέρμπι των αιωνίων αντιπάλων), also known among fans as the Mother of All Battles (Greek: μητέρα όλων των μαχών), is an association football derby contested between two of the most successful clubs of Greece, Olympiacos from Piraeus and Panathinaikos from the capital Athens.
The first leg was held at Olympiacos home ground in Piraeus, with approximately 20,000 Olympiacos fans crowding Karaiskakis Stadium and creating an intense atmosphere. Earlier, "SAFOP" (Association of Athenian Olympiacos Piraeus Fans) was created on Socratous Street and the "Red and White Army" behind Karaiskaki. Even earlier, in 1957, there was the "SFOP" (Association of Fans of Piraeus Olympiacos) with an organized presence on trips to Drama and Thessaloniki, but also to other cities in Greece.

Ethnikos's traditional rival is Olympiacos. Ethnikos was founded earlier than Olympiacos and these two clubs are the biggest in Piraeus. Ethnikos is believed that it represents the upper and middle class of Piraeus whereas Olympiacos is believed that it represents the working class.
The 2023–24 season was the 99th season in existence of Olympiacos and the club's 65th consecutive season in the top flight of Greek football. The season covered the period from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024. In addition to the Greek Super League, Olympiacos participated in this season's Greek Cup, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League.
