The Gas South Arena (originally known as the Gwinnett Civic Center Arena, later known as The Arena at Gwinnett Center and Infinite Energy Arena) is an indoor arena in Duluth, Georgia. It is located approximately 22 miles (35 km) northeast of Atlanta .
This is a list of seating capacities for sports and entertainment arenas in the United States with at least 1,000 seats. The list is composed mostly of arenas that house sports teams (basketball, ice hockey, arena soccer and arena football) and serve as indoor venues for concerts and expositions.
The facility's extensive renovation included reconstruction of the seating bowl, the addition of an upper level balcony and club seating, and the expansion of the concourse and plaza area. During the renovation, Georgia Tech's basketball teams played their 2011–2012 games at Philips Arena or Gas South Arena. [2]

Opened in 1983, the arena is the only one of its kind in Southwest Georgia. Its maximum seating capacity of 10,711 is the largest of any indoor arena in the state of Georgia outside of metropolitan Atlanta and third-largest in the state behind State Farm Arena in downtown Atlanta and Gas South Arena in Gwinnett County. Coolray Field hosted its first regular season baseball game on April 17, 2009, a 7–4 Gwinnett Braves loss to the Norfolk Tides. [5] The stadium site is located approximately two miles (3 km) east of the Mall of Georgia along Georgia State Route 20, between Interstate 85 and Georgia State Route 316.
Additionally, judging by it's use, the other venues are mostly used for local events and thus don't really stand out amongst the arena.
