This was the first GSX-R to be fitted with inverted forks as standard (USA models retained the conventional forks until 1991) and returned to the bore and stroke of the original long-stroke engine. The engine returned to the 749 cc engine bore and stroke dimensions of the original long-stroke engine but still maintained the 13,000 rpm redline.
In 1992 the GSX-R 750 was given the model designation GSX-R 750WN - the "W" signifying the first water-cooled engine. The innovative air-oil design of 1985 was simply no longer able to provide enough cooling for the power the engine was putting out, now a claimed 118 hp.
Outside the US market the GSX 750S Katana was completely restyled in 1984 sharing the same engine and 16" front wheel chassis of the ES. 1984 also saw the release of completely new GSX-R 750 signaled a new direction of race-replica sport bikes. The GSX range being relegated from the role of flag-ship models in the Suzuki range.
The engine weighed 130 lb (59 kg) which was slightly heavier than the 750 engine but 31 lb (14 kg) lighter than the engine of the GSX1300R. The performance of the engine is a peak of 160 bhp (119 kW) at 9,500 rpm, as measured on the crank and 143 hp (107 kW), [ 2 ] when measured on the rear wheel with small variations between different ...
The Suzuki GSR750 is a 749 cc 16-valve in-line four motorcycle that was introduced in 2011 as a middleweight street-bike built with a 2005 GSX-R750 derived engine, which has been re-tuned for a more usable midrange at the expense of high end power. [1]

When the GSX-R entered development, Suzuki set a goal of 100 horsepower (75 kW) for a 750 engine and, due to known heat-related problems in high-power air-cooled engines, determined that air cooling alone would not be sufficient. Therefore, the SACS system was applied to the bike's design and was eventually carried over to all larger GSX-Rs.
