    Nights is a mix of WILK, 'WRC' Washington (now WTEM) and the occasional CFPL. Back in Queens near JFK Airport (WAY back :- ): 980 was largely barren in the day. But the signal from NYC-licensed WJRZ Hackensack NJ was really schivozz by the time it arrived by us. I count 5 SSS stations logged back then, out of 13 total.

    KKLS-AM (formerly KEZU) went Top-40 in the mid 60's and became the top young persons station. KKLS-FM came about in the late 60's but didn't become a force until the early to mid 70's.
