PubMed which uses Vancouver style authors and is the source of the citation data that is used in many Wiki articles, clearly allows for extended Roman characters in author names (see for example, PMID 15196329). Boghog 13:11, 21 March 2015 (UTC) I'm not sure that characters with diacritical marks are included in the Roman characters.
