Khuzani Nkosikhona Innocent Mpungose (born December 3, 1989) professionally known as Khuzani is a South African singer. Born and raised in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal, he rose to prominence after participating in Mgqumeni's album iSecret 2010.Khuzani is considered as the King of Maskandi after the passing of the most famous Legends of Maskandi.

[5] The roots of what is today called maskandi have been traced back to non-guitar based forms of music in the 1920s, with the shift to guitar beginning in Rhodesia in the 1930s with a group of musicians inspired by the music in Western films.
