MTV Sub (formerly TVTV!, Subtv and Sub) is a Finnish television channel owned by MTV Oy. The previous owner Alma Media sold Sub and its sister channels ( MTV3 , C More Max , MTV Ava Radio Nova and Sävelradio) to Swedish Bonnier and Proventus in 2005.
With the terrestrial launch, the channel's name was changed to Subtv Leffa. In the terrestrial network, the channel operates between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., sharing its broadcast space with MTV Juniori for the rest of the day. When Subtv changed its name to simply Sub, the movie channel followed suit and was renamed Sub Leffa.
PlusTV was launched in November 2006, originally only broadcasting MTV3 Max and Subtv Juniori (later on adding Subtv Leffa and Urheilu+kanava). Both packages got more channels with the launch of MUX E in September 2007: SVT Europa and MTV3 Fakta was added to PlusTV and KinoTV was added to Canal Digital, while Discovery Channel , Eurosport , MTV ...
Big Brother Suomi (formerly Big Brother) is the Finnish version of the reality television franchise Big Brother. The Finnish adaptation was broadcast on Sub (formerly SubTV) in Finland from 2005 to 2014. The series premiered on Sub on 28 August 2005 and the tenth season concluded on 14 November 2014.
