Turtle Mountain, or the Turtle Mountains, is an area in central North America, in the north-central portion of the U.S. state of North Dakota and southwestern portion of the Canadian province of Manitoba, approximately 62 miles (100 km) south of the city of Brandon on Manitoba Highway 10 / U.S. Route 281.

Belcourt is a census-designated place (CDP) in Rolette County, North Dakota, United States. It is within the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation. The population was 1,510 at the 2020 census. [4] The community is the seat of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians.
ND 30 resumes again, this time at ND 66 near Mylo, and runs north for 13.8 miles before intersecting US 281 and ND 5 in Rolla.North of Rolla, ND 30 ends at the Canadian border with no major intersections between the two, though it comes close to both Turtle Mountain State Forest, and the International Peace Garden, with a paved side road (106th Street NE) providing access.
U.S. Highway 52 (US 52) is a 362-mile-long (583 km) United States Numbered Highway in the U.S. state of North Dakota, which travels from the Canada–United States border east to the Red River at Fargo. The highway connects the cities of Minot and Fargo and travels concurrent with Interstate 94 (I-94) between Jamestown and the Minnesota state line.
The park is located north of Dunseith, North Dakota, at the northern terminus of U.S. Highway 281 in northwestern Rolette County.It is also adjacent to the southeast corner of Turtle Mountain Provincial Park in the Municipality of Boissevain – Morton, south of Boissevain, Manitoba, at the southern terminus of Manitoba Provincial Highway 10.
Lake Metigoshe State Park is a public recreation area occupying some 1,500 acres (610 ha) on the shores of Lake Metigoshe in the Turtle Mountains, 14 miles northeast of Bottineau, North Dakota, on the Canada–US border. [3] The state park lies adjacent to the southwest corner of the much larger Turtle Mountain Provincial Park in Manitoba.
