Manas International Airport (Kyrgyz: Манас эл аралык аэропорту, romanized: Manas El Aralyk Aeroportu ; Russian: Международный аэропорт «Манас») (IATA: FRU, ICAO: UCFM) is the main international airport in Kyrgyzstan, located 25 kilometres (16 mi) north-northwest of the capital, Bishkek.
Osh Airport is one of the largest airports in the Fergana Valley and a subsidiary of Manas International Airport OJSC. [3] It is located 9 km north of Osh, the most important city in southern Kyrgyzstan. The primary function of Osh International Airport is to meet the air transportation needs of Kyrgyzstan's southern region, with Osh as its center.
The current runway and terminal were built in 1978. On 30 November 2011, the Kyrgyz Government signed a decree and awarded an international status to the airport. Thus, it became Karakol International Airport. [4] On 2 December 2011, the first international flight landed at Karakol International Airport.
In the same year, the Kyrgyz Government renamed Tamchy Airport to Issyk-Kul International Airport. It is a class 4D airport with CAT I instrument landing facilities and lighting on both the runway and stands for night operation. Issyk-Kul International Airport has customs and border control checks and serves both domestic and international flights.

It is a regional class 3C airport. The runway has a weight limit of 22 tonnes, and has no instrument landing facilities and operates only during daylight hours. Although Kyzyl-Kiya Airport is near the border with Uzbekistan, it has no customs and border control checks and serves only flights within Kyrgyzstan.
