Houston Community College, also known as the Houston Community College System (HCCS), is a community college that operates community colleges in Houston, Missouri City, Greater Katy, and Stafford in Texas. It is notable for actively recruiting internationally and for the large number of international students enrolled, over 5,700 in 2015.
The HCC men's lacrosse team competed in the Great Lakes Lacrosse League (GLLL). Basketball games are covered by the Regional Radio Sports Network . Bob Schermerhorn coached the basketball team for three seasons and led the team to 32 wins and their first CCAC post-season tournament victory in 2012 before retiring the following year.

Northline Transit Center/HCC station is a station on METRORail Red Line in Houston. It is the northern terminus of the Red Line. It services the Northline Transit Center, located on the west side of the street and the Houston Community College Northline Campus. Outside of weekdays, it is the busiest station on the Red Line.
