The Rocklin Unified School District is a California education district serving the Rocklin area. It consists of twelve elementary schools, two middle schools, two high schools, and the Rocklin Alternative Education Center. Clovis Unified School District is a public school system located in Clovis, California, with its headquarters located at 1450, Herndon Avenue, Clovis. Its 49 schools serve a student population of nearly 43,000 students in a geographic area covering about 198 sq mi (510 km 2 ).
Apr. 13—Clovis Municipal Schools has scheduled a community meeting for 7 p.m. Wednesday to review the Facilities Master Plan and related proposals. The meeting is at Marshall Auditorium.
In the 2006–07 school year, Clovis High School had an enrollment of 2,518, which has probably increased, and an average class size between 22 and 33 people. [4] The graduation rate in 2005–06 was 94.4%. [4] In 2008, Clovis High's API rating increased to 803, and has set a goal of gaining 10 more points to reach an API of 813. [5]
Clovis Unified is the 14th largest school district in the state and its student body is composed of 40% Hispanic students, 34% White, 16% Asian and 3% Black according to the district’s website.
Rocklin High has an award-winning engineering program. Students used to compete annually in the SkillsUSA competitions, and have earned gold medals at the Regional, State, and National levels. The 2005–2006 Rocklin High Yearbook placed first in the 2006 NSPA Nashville Convention Best-In-Show for the 325+ page category.
