Florida Tile is a U.S.-based manufacturer of porcelain and ceramic tile. It is one of the United States' largest producers of glazed and unglazed porcelain wall, floor tile and ceramic wall tile. [1] It is also an importer and distributor of ceramic and porcelain wall and floor tile, natural stone, glass and metal tiles.

It is frequently claimed that the first factory mark on the European porcelain, in the shape of crossed swords, appeared on the Meissen pieces in 1720. Edwards points out to earlier examples of Saint-Cloud and Medici porcelain, but there is little doubt that the Meissen mark was the first ever on a commercial porcelain product. [11]
Rosenthal GmbH is a German manufacturer of porcelain products and other household goods. The original firm was founded in 1879 in Selb , Bavaria . Since 2009, Rosenthal has been owned by the Italian company Sambonet Paderno Industrie (Arcturus Group).
Teapot, ca. 1765–69. John Bartlam (1735–1781) was a British maker of pottery who emigrated to America in 1763, and established a factory in Cainhoy, then called Cain Hoy, nine miles north of Charleston, South Carolina before moving to Camden, South Carolina.
