Seshat (Ancient Egyptian: 𓋇𓏏𓁐, romanized: sšꜣt, lit. 'Female Scribe', under various spellings [2]) was the ancient Egyptian goddess of writing, wisdom, and knowledge. She was the daughter of Thoth.
