The Graduate by Hilton Providence is an upscale hotel that opened in 1922 as the Providence Biltmore Hotel, part of the Bowman-Biltmore Hotels chain. It is located on the southern corner of Kennedy Plaza at 11 Dorrance Street in downtown Providence, Rhode Island .
The Procaccianti Group of Cranston, Rhode Island, which bought the hotel in late 2012, denied any wrongdoing and called the boycott "misguided". [8] The labor dispute continued after Omni Hotels, of Dallas, Texas, bought the property in 2015.
The hotel was designed by ASH NYC and Kite Architects Inc. [1] The Dean's rooms include oil paintings by various artists, tables by Rhode Island sculptor Will Reeves, and fixtures by The Steel Yard. [2] The building also loans out refurbished bicycles. [3] The Dean currently contains four businesses and two food establishments.
The lower floors are an extension of the hotel. Floors 16-31 consist of high-end condominiums. The Residences Providence is one of several high-rise residential projects in Providence completed since 2000 that are aimed at the luxury condominium market.
