Vestavia Hills, colloquially known simply as Vestavia, [6] is a city in Jefferson and Shelby counties in the U.S. state of Alabama. It is a suburb of Birmingham and it is made up of Vestavia, Liberty Park, and Cahaba Heights.

The Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex is a multi-purpose sports complex in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, a suburb of Birmingham.The facility hosts the Vestavia Hills Soccer Club, a youth soccer program for the community, and used to host the Birmingham Hammers, a National Premier Soccer League club, until they were dissolved in 2018 to make way for Birmingham Legion FC, a USL Championship team.
It runs through portions of Bessemer, Vestavia Hills, and Trussville, and forms a main route through the primary city of Hoover. Interstate 422, the Birmingham Northern Bypass is planned to run from the current I-20/59/459 interchange near Bessemer to Interstate 59 and US Route 11 near Argo. It is planned to be completed by 2048.
Shelby County is a county located in the central portion of the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2020 census the population was 223,024, making it the sixth-most populous county in Alabama. [1] The county seat is Columbiana. [2] Its largest city is Alabaster.
A few miles into the city limits, the route engages in a concurrency with Alabama State Route 69. About two miles later, it reaches U.S. Route 278, which is also the end of the SR-69 concurrency. Heading north out of town, the route crosses SR-157, the University of North Alabama Highway.
