[1] [2] The critical edition has three parts and 353 chapters. [3] [4] It is the longest book among the eighteen books of the epic.
The Vishnu Sahasranama, of which the most popular version is found in the Anushasana Parva (13.135) of the Mahabharata. [12] [13] Other versions are found in many Puranas linked to Vaishnavism.
