OBK is a Spanish synthpop music group from Barcelona composed of Jordi Sánchez and Miguel Arjona. The group was famous for introducing the electronic music in Spain in the 1990s (in the early 1980s some Spanish synthpop bands as Azul y Negro and Aviador Dro , among others, had gained great success also).
Antonio Escobar was born in Pamplona, Navarre, Spain, raised in Málaga and is of Andalusian descent. He began during the late 1990s as a studio engineer and music producer for the Spanish singer Manzanita and in 1998, formed Spanish the award-winning indie band Maydrïm.
