The Town of Cicero is one of the oldest and largest municipalities in the State of Illinois and the only incorporated town in Cook County. It bears the name of the great Roman statesman of the First Century B.C., Marcus Tullius Cicero.

Cicero Holds Second Business Meeting to Foster Collaboration and Address Community Issues On Monday, October 28 at 10am the Town of Cicero hosted its second business meeting, a continuation of its efforts to foster collaboration and address key issues for local businesses.
Joe Virruso is Cicero’s longest serving town employee. Joe began working for the town in 1949 at the age of 18 serving under eight different town presidents. He began in the Public Works Department, and then moved to the Water & Sewers Department and now serves as the Town Supervisor.
