The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy [c] is an American animated television series created by Maxwell Atoms for Cartoon Network.It follows Billy, a dimwitted, happy-go-lucky boy, and Mandy, a cynical, remorseless girl, who, after winning a limbo game to save Billy's pet hamster, gains Grim, the mighty Grim Reaper, as their "best friend forever".
William "Billy" is a 9-year-old human boy who strangely has an impossibly low IQ of -5, a sign of profound intellectual disability, having been outperformed by a shovel and two candy bracelets on an IQ test, though he acts like a smart-aleck.
When Billy's pet hamster, Mr. Snuggles, celebrates his 10th birthday, the Grim Reaper comes for him. Billy's friend Mandy is reluctant in allowing it, so she proposes a deal to the Grim Reaper: if he beats the kids in a game, he can take the hamster, but if he loses, he will spare the hamster's life and become their "best friend forever".
Billy, Mandy, and Nebraska follow Grim while he sleepwalks, but they realize it turns out to be Billy's mom, the one attacking the owls. When discovered, Gladys reveals her hatred toward the owls as she recounts the story on how an owl ate her pet rat, Sniffles, years ago. Billy's dad reveals that ate Sniffles merely to survive until lunch time.
Billy and Irwin have been playing their favorite video game, Beasts and Barbarians, for three days non-stop. In an attempt to stop their video game addiction, Grim transports them all to a real-life version of the game. Seeing as Billy and Irwin are still doing good in their quest, Grim increases the difficulty by manipulating the traps himself.
