Noah (formerly known as Peterpan; and later stylized as NOAH) are an Indonesian rock band formed as Peterpan in Bandung, West Java in 2000, which consisted of six members: Ariel, Andika, Indra, Lukman, Reza and Uki, with Andika as the leader. Most of their lyrics are written by Ariel, who is the band's lead vocalist.

When Noah published the album Second Chance, RM. Adji Srihandoyodari from Trans Retail said that Second Chance was the first of four albums and would be followed by Noah's version of Taman Langit, Bintang di Surga, and Hari yang Cerah. The band proceeded to abandon the Peterpan name and performed as "Ariel, Uki, Lukman, Reza, David" in 2009, before announcing their new name, Noah, in 2012. With nine million albums sold in Indonesia as of 2015, Noah are regarded as the best-selling alternative pop/rock band in the country.
On December 12, 2021, Noah announced that they would release a re-recorded version of Taman Langit. [1] On the same day, Noah performed an exclusive concert at Hutan Kota by Plataran, Central Jakarta to promote the album. [9] Noah's version of Taman Langit was released on December 17, 2021, on digital music services and in CD format. [10]
Prior to releasing Seperti Seharusnya, Noah release the album's lead single, "Separuh Aku", on August 3, 2012, via radio airplay. [2] Its video music was released on August 5, 2012. [3] On September 16, 2012, which happened to be Noah's vocalist Ariel's birthday, Noah released Seperti Seharusnya while holding concerts in five country in 24-hours.
