The festival screened films written, produced, or directed by women from around the world, [7] screening over 50 films, both short and feature films, unreleased in French cinemas. There was a competition for the feature films, [ 9 ] with awards including the Golden Wave, Audience Award, [ 14 ] a Special Jury Award, and Special Mention.
X Femmes (English: X Women) is a French television series of short films shown on Canal+ in 2008–2009. [1] They were shot by female directors with the goal of producing erotica, soft-core pornography and hard-core pornography from a female point of view. [2]
