Any major reasons which affect your personally or financially or affecting US/your employer. I think spouse/child/family separation is also being approved. Surely any national interest will get approved. May be if your employer looses financially if you are outside then they might approve.

Appreciate all your responses. 1. Yes. 2. No issue if you are selecting different consulate. You are good. 3. You cannot schedule more than one appointment at the same time for the same person. You have to cancel one and schedule other/ cancel the one on old account and schedule other on New one.

You can call Department of Homeland security and ask but they say to do DS160 and then go on appointment website and enter details and it will determine the eligibility and tell you either to do dropbox OR book counselor appointment. https://ais.usvisa-info.com ...
We just applied US visa B1/B2 yesterday and we got available appointment November 2024. I tried to reschedule last 1 hour and found earlier one which is 19 May2023. if you want to find earliest appointment, you should keep trying to reschedule every 10 minutes. Good luck.
