Kids Creek is a stream in Grand Traverse County, Michigan in the United States. The stream is a tributary of the Boardman River , which itself flows into Grand Traverse Bay , a bay of Lake Michigan .
The name of the town is derived from its location approximately halfway between Charlotte and Oakboro on the railroad line. The population was 3,073 at the 2010 census. The U.S. Postal Service has maintained a post office in Midland for many years (ZIP code 28107), and rural mail routes extend from Midland into portions of four counties.
Hemingway is near the Pee Dee River, which was the main commercial route for the area until the coming of the railroad. Snows Lake is near Hemingway.
