A 2023 hockey game between the Dubuque Spartans and Trine Thunder at ImOn Ice Arena. The ImOn Ice Arena is a 3,850-seat multipurpose arena in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, located adjacent to Veterans Memorial Stadium. The arena opened on January 8, 2000, and is owned by the city of Cedar Rapids.
The arena serves as the home court of the nearby University of Iowa's volleyball team. [4]Developers had expressed interest in luring a USHL or ECHL franchise. [5] On September 17, 2020, the city announced it had come to an agreement to host an ECHL team that was approved to begin play for in the 2021–22 season named the Iowa Heartlanders.

The Mid-America Center is an arena and convention center located in Council Bluffs, Iowa, United States, five minutes from downtown Omaha, Nebraska. The arena's maximum capacity is about 9,000 for concerts and 6,700 for ice hockey and arena football. The arena continues to provide free parking.
