Indya Kincannon (born March 30, 1971) is an American politician serving since 2019 as the 69th mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee. She won the 2019 mayoral election with more than 52% of the runoff vote over Eddie Mannis. [2] She is Knoxville's second female mayor, after her predecessor, Madeline Rogero.

Tyree unsuccessfully sought to again become mayor in the 1987 election. Tyree was a candidate for sheriff of Knox County in 2006 and 2008. In the May 2006 primary he ran as a write-in candidate , winning over 5% of the vote and thus earning a place in the August general election, which he lost to Republican incumbent Tim Hutchison.
