I have half known about csTimer's virtual cube for a while, but yesterday i finally decided to give it a go. After getting the key binds down pat and working in the muscle memory, I am now sub 30 within a day. My best times so far are a 12.14 single, 21.34 ao5 and 23.81 ao12. I mapped cstimer's virtual cube to a PS4 controller. Wow, that's awesome! The keyboard layout is pretty nice also, and you can use that with very few hand movements. i think you could actually beat the world record in this one if you were really comfortable with it, made the animations instant and also make a better POV.

Pressing down your right index finger does a U move, just like how you use your right index to flick U on a real cube. Same goes for D moves (left ring finger) and F moves (pretend that you always use index for F). B' is done by moving your right ring up a key and pressing. On a real cube you can do B' by regripping so that your right thumb is ...

I mostly solve virtual 2x2, but I’ve tried a bit of 3x3. Some keys that are rotations on 2x2 are wide moves in 3x3, so most of my 3x3 solves end up being dnfs because I get lost lol. I’ve done 11 solves so far, only 3 successful ones, a 1:20.47, a 40,64 and my current PB: 22.90

Discussion. Hello, I'm restarting this hobby after an over-10-year hiatus (lol). Way back when, we used hi-games heavily as a 3x3 simulation, and a simulator for larger cubes that we couldn't buy. Looks like hi-games isn't well supported anymore (Chrome doesn't seem to let me run java applets). Are there other alternatives that are good?
