Michael Lawrence Marrow (August 2, 1955 – December 12, 2019), [1] known as PHASE 2 and Lonny Wood, was an American aerosol paint artist based in New York City.Mostly active in the 1970s, Phase 2 is generally credited with originating the "bubble letter" style of aerosol writing, also known as "softies".
Andrew Paul Dost (born April 10, 1983) [1] is an American musician and singer; he is a member of the indie bossa nova/jazz band Metal Bubble Trio, [2] in which he is the lead singer. He was formerly a member of the indie rock band Anathallo from 2003 to 2007, as well as the indie rock band fun. from 2008-2015.
The band consists of Jack Antonoff (of Steel Train), Andrew Dost (of Anathallo), and Nate Ruess (of the Format). [6] Fun formed in 2008, and their debut studio album, Aim and Ignite, was released in 2009 to moderate commercial success. The band rose to prominence with the release of their second album, Some Nights, in 2012.
