F-series Heavy Duty like F-250, F-350 are available in Super Cab and Crew cab with long bed, but the F-450 is available only in a chassis version. The F-150 Raptor is available, too. In the United Kingdom, most imported Ford F-Series trucks are the F-150 model in LHD, and usually the higher-end four door versions.
Ford's 10-speed 10R140 TorqShift automatic transmission was now standard with the diesel and 7.3-liter gasoline engines on the F-250 and all engines on the F-350; the 6-speed was still available, but only in the F-250 with the 6.2-liter engine and even the F-350 XL DRW with the Payload Package of the same engine (though this is a rare option).
For the first time, a diesel engine was offered in the F-150, as a 250 hp 3.0L Power Stroke V6 was introduced during the model year, dependent on trim (commercial and fleet sales only, for XL and XLT trim). For 2019, the 450 hp version of the 3.5L engine was introduced to the flagship Limited trim.

Other updates included improved front seats with revised side bolstering, and new 20" wheels available for FX4, Lariat, and King Ranch. A navigation system was optional for the first time on the Lariat, King Ranch, and Harley Davidson trim. Ford offered an XLT Chrome Package, also known as XTR in Canada, as well as a Lariat Chrome package.
