Hudson's Bay Queen Street is a building complex on the southwest corner of Yonge Street and Queen Street West in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada.It was originally named the Simpson's Department Store, and operated as the flagship store of the Simpsons department store chain from 1895–1991.
Unlike its two other Morgan's locations at Lawrence Plaza and Cloverdale Mall which were leases, Hudson's Bay Company wholly-owned the store at Eglinton Square. [2] Morgan's eventually became a The Bay store. [9] In 1964, Eglinton Square was enlarged of 25 stores from the 31 existing ones and essentially became an enclosed shopping mall. [2]
Sailmakers shopping centre (formerly known as Tower Ramparts) is a small multi-story shopping centre located in Ipswich, England. It was opened to the public in November 1986. It is currently owned and operated by LaSalle Investment Management, who purchased the centre in 2011.
The Eaton's store was converted to a Zellers in the early 1990s. Target purchased most Zellers leaseholds in 2012, and reopened it as a Target store in 2013. Target left in early 2015, and the store was purchased by Lowe's Canada during Target's bankruptcy liquidation. The new Lowe's location opened to the public in June 2016 and closed in 2023.
