Snyder's-Lance, Inc. is the second largest salty snack maker in the United States. It was formed by the 2010 merger of Lance Inc. and Snyder's of Hanover. [1] The company is a subsidiary of The Campbell's Company [2] (known before November 2024 as the Campbell Soup Company).
On July 22, 2010, Lance announced that it would merge with Snyder's of Hanover. The resulting company, known as Snyder's-Lance Inc., would remain publicly traded under the LNCE symbol. Headquarters would remain in Charlotte. [1] On December 2, Lance shareholders approved the deal that created the country's second largest snack food company. [2]
On December 5, 2007, the remaining assets of Jay's were acquired by Snyder's-Lance, Inc. who have said they will continue to manufacture and distribute Jays products throughout the Midwest.
