    Actually, I think the main reason why my post was so harshly criticized on K5 is essentially the way I set it up: I both tooted Wikipedia's horn and was "defensive" (i.e., set the article up so that it was a defense of Wikipedia against common criticisms). Either one of these things would be ripe for attack by many competitive personality types.
