The Hotel Ponce de Leon, also known as The Ponce, was a luxury hotel in St. Augustine, Florida, built by millionaire developer and Standard Oil co-founder Henry M. Flagler. Built between 1885–1887, the winter resort opened in January 1888.
The St. Augustine Historical Restoration and Preservation Commission purchased the Cerveau House for $19,000 in 1966. Director of the Board Earle Newton stated that the main use for the Cerveau House at the time of sale was that it could be used as a rental property and that it would provide access to another Board-owned property at the rear of the Spanish Inn.
