She done what they told her to do. Cleaning solution and twist clockwise and anti-clockwise every day, 2 times a day. She had them done at clairs with no problems. I think it all depends if the person looks after their pierced ears the way they are told to. If not you get problems.
Thanks! 3-4 seems short. I spoke to the piercing studio where DD will get hers soon and they said 6-8 weeks for the initial studs before changing. Mine had the pierced at Claire's on the 1st of May and were advised to keep them in for at least 6 weeks.

You’re so welcome! I got mine done with a needle yes, if she went to Claire’s to get it done it would be A LOT more painful as they use the stood to pierce and as you prob know studs are not sharp enough to go through the cartilage of a noes![emoji31][emoji27] most of the time they do piercings at tattoo shops, I would definitely tell her to get the needle as it’s safer and very quick x

Chances are if you go to Claire's nothing will go wrong. But all the professionals say to never get cartilage piercing done with a gun, as it causes trauma and doesn't heal as well. Plus sanitary reasons - as others have said you can't properly sterilise the guns - and professional piercers have more thorough training.
It makes me cringe to see a young child with their ears pierced. It's illegal to tattoo someone under 18 I think they need to do that with piercings too. If any of you who have had their childs ear pierced saw a poor young kid who has caught their earring and torn their ear lobe you might think twice! 0. Reply.
