The general consensus I’ve seen online is that the wooting is straight up the best keyboard out rn. But the cost is making me question whether or not it’s worth it? It’s $307 CAD with shipping and then I’ll have to pay the additional taxes as well. So probably around $350.
HitsinLike. • 6 mo. ago. Got my self the drunkdeer g65 (budget wooting) as my first non $5 keyboard and it seems good for me but i dont really have nothing to compare it to so cant say much. Its like $115. Other option woulda been some optical ones probably from razer i think around $90-$100. 1.
And most Asian keyboard market clones are getting very high quality while staying lower cost than the 1st party brands. tldr; I respect Wooting but can't afford the price atm but was hoping a decent analog clone board for a lower price was available so that I could experience analog switches for myself.
By default you gain access to the F row by holding down the FN key (bottom right) and hitting 1-12 on the number row. You have to press them at the same time. As long as you hold fn that layer will be active. He mounted the Fn key in the wrong place. He’s got a ISO UK and that comes without caps.
Imo the reason to get a wooting is either because you want the analog features, a higher/customizable actuation point, rapid trigger, or simply not feeling the mechanical actuation point during the keystroke. If any of these sound like what you want and it’s worth the cost to you, get the 60he module. Otherwise stick with what you have as it ...
For a more instant experience, you can also join the Wooting Discord server. Discord: https://wooting.io/discord. Wooting 80HE is a Mistake. Wooting knew for a long time we wanted a 75%/TKL keyboard but instead decided to give us this abomination of a layout, 80HE.
I just learned about the Wooting keyboard which came out about a year ago. Essentially, it uses a novel laser technology (that is beyond my comprehension, I only sort of care about keyboards) that lets you do two things: a) manually set your actuation distance, to a minimum of 0.1mm. For context, a Cherry MX switch (which can be found in most ...
60he has way better software and tiny bit faster rapid trigger though. It all depends on what you prefer. If you're playing a lot of FPS games like FN, Overwatch, Valiant, CS2 then 60HE or similar keyboard is ideal. The wait time for 60HE is long, so check out Apex Pro if you want a keyboard soon.
Edit: I actually have the wooting 2 HE. I dunno what you mean by configurator as I haven't looked into everything yet but I did try using the macro software which doesn't work in cs. Cs blocks all external inputs afaik so unless you can save the macros directly to the keyboard so they function as actual key presses it most likely won't work at all.
Q: My keyboard isn’t working, unable to type and no LEDs A: This is a common issue when plugging in your Wooting for the first time, all that needs to be done is going through a simple restore, to do this simply unplug the keyboard, plug it back in while pressing Mode + Right then click “troubleshoot in Wootiliy", choose your layout and the ...
