This began on the 30 October 2023 when Thorpe Park announced that Angry Birds Land would be permanently closing.
The ride opened as X:\ No Way Out on July 1, 1996, as Thorpe Park's first non-powered roller coaster. It was marketed as the "world's first backwards roller coaster in the dark" and featured an elaborate queue system through multiple interactive themed rooms, such as a trommel tunnel, "decontamination" area and illusionary rooms.

Ghost Train is a dark ride at Thorpe Park in Surrey, England. The attraction incorporates motion simulation , illusion, multisensory effects and live actors to help execute the storyline. It is set in a haunted mid-1980s railway station and mainly focuses on passengers taking the last train to an abandoned crypt .
