The Northern Cricket Union (NCU) Senior League is the provincial cricket league within the NCU jurisdiction in Ireland, which covers counties Antrim, Armagh, Down and south Tyrone of Northern Ireland. The league was formed in 1897 and is currently divided into four sections, namely the Premier League, Sections 1, 2 and 3.
It has organised the NCU Challenge Cup since 1887 and the NCU Senior League since 1897. [3] In 2005, there were 50 clubs fielding 137 teams affiliated to the union. [4] In 2013, Cricket Ireland formed a three-day Interprovincial Championship, featuring teams from Leinster, NCU and the North West. The NCU team is known as the Northern Knights.

Bangor Cricket Club is a cricket club in Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland. There are 4 adult weekend XI's, all of which play in league and cup competitions within the Northern Cricket Union of Ireland. In 2013 the 1st XI were promoted to NCU Senior League 1 and the 2nd XI were promoted to NCU Junior League 1.
The first clubhouse was a gift from the then Lord Downshire and was previously the late Lady Downshire's studio. The current clubhouse was opened in 1995 and an additional storeroom was built in 2013. The club originally played in the East Down League until this folded in the 1960s.
