The 2024 National Super League 4-Day Tournament is the ongoing season of the National Super League 4-Day Tournament, a first-class cricket competition being played in Sri Lanka. [1] The tournament started on 18 January 2024 and the final match is scheduled to end on 3 May 2024. [ 2 ]
The league is organized by the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) beginning in the 2022 season. [2] In January 2022, the SLC launched the tournament. [ 3 ] The squads for the competition are announced based on the performances in the Major League Tournament , with 26 clubs clustered under five teams. [ 4 ]

The Major League Tournament (formerly known as the Premier Trophy) is the main domestic first-class cricket competition in Sri Lanka. It was established in 1938 and has existed under a number of different names. Matches before the 1988–89 season are not considered first-class.
