K. K. Shailaja (born 20 November 1956) is an Indian politician and former Health Minister of Kerala who hails from Kannur district. [ 2 ] Shailaja currently serves as the MLA representing Mattanur constituency in 15th Kerala Legislative Assembly .

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education is the regulatory body of higher secondary schools in Kerala. It was formed in 1990 to reorganize secondary and collegiate education in the Indian state of Kerala. The board provides Higher Secondary Examination and offers courses in science, humanities and commerce. [1]
In India, the Department of General Education is the Government of Kerala's body for school education. Founded in 1995, The department administers school education from pre-primary level to the higher secondary level and teacher training the department is in charge of conducting Secondary School Leaving Certificate examinations in Kerala State.
While starting the school in 1995 the school consists of only 55 students in 2 divisions. Later it increased considerably and now the school have 84 classrooms with 3900 students and more than 100 teachers included in High school and Higher secondary department. [10] [11] [12]
