St. Richard School (South Philadelphia) – Merged into St. Pio Regional Catholic School in 2012. [ 2 ] In 2012 the archdiocese considered merging the school into the Stella Maris site, but kept the campus open after the school community appealed; [ 37 ] it became a regional school with Holy Spirit.

The academy was originally located in Philadelphia on the grounds of what is now Chestnut Hill College. Originally a boarding school, the academy began accepting day students in 1911.
